Nepenthes Gaya aka Carnivorous Pitcher Plant

The Nepenthes Gaya aka pitcher plants burgundy.  The pitchers form with closed lids until they are ready to eat, then the top opens emitting a pheromone while making the liquid inside able to be consumed by insects. Pitcher plants thrive in a humid warm brightly lit environment keeping its soil somewhat moist. Pitcher plants will naturally have less pitcher production in the winter due to lack of as many bugs in the winter and a natural dormancy period for plants.

These plants are grown in a 6” hanging basket.

If you wish to purchase more than one large pitcher plant please purchase separately as they are too large to ship together in one box. This will ensure enough weight is figured into shipping costs.

All plants are grown outside therefore leaves may show some environmental imperfections.
