Maranta Leuconeura aka Prayer Plant

Maranta Leuconeura is a easy going low light plant that presents its leaves upright at night and folds them downward during the day giving them the “prayer plant” name.

We keep the soil semi moist only letting the top soil to dry between watering and a monthly fertilization. Maranta makes a great house or patio plant as NASA recommends it for its air cleaning attributes.
