Kaempferia pulchra aka Peacock Ginger
Kaempferia pulchra has beautiful large dark green leaves with variegated silver green pattern. These plants bloom on and off all year with purple flowers. They make a great house plant or patio plant. In Florida you can grow them in ground in shade to morning sun at the most. Direct sun for more than a couple hours will burn the leaves. We water when the top soil dries trying to keep it semi moist but not soaked.
Pictures are of actual plants available your plant will be chosen from. Last 2 pics are of larger more mature plants to show what the variegation will look like.
All plants are grown outside therefore leaves may show some environmental imperfections.
White spotting on leaves is residual from neem oil spray used to control insects, mites and fungus.
