Dorstenia black flower aka Stone Flower

Dorstenia bahiensis is a very unique blooming plant that has deep green arrow head/spade shaped leaves that produce black stone like flowers several times a year. Dorstenia is a easy to grow indoor or can be a shade to morning sun plant outside. We grow ours in morning sun and water when soil is dry. Fertilize monthly with a well balanced slow release fertilizer.

These plants are rooted in a 4” pot.

All plants are grown outside therefore leaves may show some environmental imperfections.

White spotting on leaves is residual from Neem Oil spray used to control insects, mites and fungus.
