Dionaea Muscipula ‘Red Pirahna’ aka Red Venus Fly Trap

Dionaea Muscipula ‘Red Piranha’ isn’t your typical Venus Fly Trap with it’s deep red to maroon colors mixed with the contrasting lime green it makes a bold statement in any carnivorous bog garden or terrarium set up. We grow these beside our other carnivorous plant varieties giving them morning sun for a few hours and keep trays of water under them so their soil never dry’s out completely. More light exposure up to full sun will bring out more of the red tones of color on the foliage.

Pictures are of examples of the size of plant you will receive. These plants are rooted in a 4” pot.

All plants are grown outside therefore leaves may show some environmental imperfections.
