Colocasia Esculenta ‘Coal Miner’
Colocasia ‘Coal Miner’ has large arrowhead shaped leaves that are dark green to black in color. This variety can achieve 4-6’ in height when planted in ground. Keeping potted will stunt growth a bit. Coal Miner will tolerate being planted in areas that stay damp, they are not picky about soil PH and are cold hardy when planted in ground in zones 7-11. These plants are rooted in 4-4.5” pots. Some Alocasia and Colocasia can be temperamental during shipping and may lose leaves.
